Questions

Do I pay anything now?

No. Reserving just holds one of the 100 places at £9. We'll email you before paid membership opens, and you choose then whether to join.

Does the £9 price go up later?

No. If you join as a founding member, you pay £9 a month for as long as you stay. If you cancel and come back later, you'd pay the standard price.
